Hosea concludes his book with more warnings of judgment at the hands of the Assyrians but Ch. 14 is a great message of hope. Yes, punishment must come because of unrepentant sinning, yet, God has made promises to His people Israel -and to us - that He will not renege. Wise is the one who responds in repentance.
