Unleavened Bread was a week long observance of remembering how God freed you from a life of slavery and the inundating influences of a society that didn't know the true God. The apostle Paul applies Unleavened bread in 1 Cor. 5:6-8 as the need to remove the 'leaven' sin in our life lest it 'fills' our life and makes us totally unavailable to serve God.
