Paul continues to defend the gospel and his apostleship by showing the Galatians that he received it from Jesus and not from man. He spent very little time with the apostles and when he did meet with them (17 years after he was saved!) they affirmed his message as the same as their's and Jesus' message. Paul was unwilling to change the gospel for the sake of people pressuring him to. Are we as firm?
