One of Israel's better kings, Jehoshaphat firmly believed that the nation needed to be taught God's Word if they were going to obey Him. He modeled trust in God during times of difficulty but he also faltered toward the end of his life. He needed to keep teaching God's Word and trusting God for life's problems as we all should.
